Bench helped the APAC team from 20th Century Fox find the right audience types for R-rated sci-fi horror film lovers and devotees of the Alien franchise, resulting in 3million+ trailer views during the campaign.


The programmatic strategy involved identifying the channels that had performed well for 20th Century Fox by market while exploring new ad formats and channels. Using the automation, optimisation and reporting capabilities of Bench Connect, we could run different channel mixes for each APAC geography to increase ROI.

The Bench Platform allowed 20th Century Fox to drill down into the performance data by country. Bench’s audience optimization engine allowed them to quickly figure out what creative and messaging worked best in each market. They were then able to optimize these in real-time in order to maximize their media spend.

Through Bench, we were able to trial new ad formats on Facebook successfully and to maximise engagement and ultimately awareness with one of our key audience demographics.
